For Leyland Children on Free School Meals
Year 3 to Year 11
We are pleased to announce that this year we are able to provide additional FREE food support during the summer holidays for those children on free school meals in Leyland schools.
Who Is The Support For?
For Leyland Children on Free School Meals in Year 3 to Year 11.
Existing Food Bank clients can also register for ‘School Holiday Food Support’, in addition to their current support.
Free School meals are provided to families who receive Universal Credit. We may require proof of Universal Credit entitlement.
In the event of large numbers of unregistered families coming along, we will ask them either for evidence of their entitlement to free school meals or to register with the Food Bank for normal food support only.
Support will be provided as long as it is affordable with existing available Food Bank funding.
ALL SUPPORT IS PROVIDED ON A STRICTLY CONFIDENTIAL BASIS.
What Support Is Provided?
Once a week during this period, each family will receive food parcel support according to the number of their children that receive free school meals.
When Is the Support Available?
Weekly – Monday 21st July until Friday 29th August.
Opening Times – Monday to Friday 10:00 till 11:30 am

How Do I Apply For The Support?
1. Use the CONFIDENTIAL online registration application form below.
2. Visit the Food Bank and staff will give you a registration form to fill in and help complete it with you if required.
What Happens After I Register?
Once your application has been received and reviewed, you will be advised by email within 3 days and invited to come to the Food Bank to collect your parcel(s) or to provide more information.
